Description

Single titanite crystal in very good quality on matrix. For alpine titanite the cognac-like color is by far less common than the well-known green titanite from Pinzgau. The quality and luster is excellent. The crystal shows a sharp termination with highly transparent und translucent color. The crystal measures 1.1 cm. The special discovery comes from more than 2800 meters above sea level. Due to the high altitude the cleft was only accessable for a few weeks during summer
