Description

A couple of emerald crystals are embedded in the typical mica schist matrix. The big emerald crystal is naturally broken and rehealed by the matrix.
The crystals are mostly translucent, the smaller part of the big crystal is nearly transparent. They are quite sharp and lustrous and have a good, typical emerald-green color with a hint of blue.

This is a very old specimen, coming with printed Dr. A. Krantz label dated to 1850-1870.
