Description

A greyish white, crystalline grain of dalyite with a brown elongated janhaugite crystal. Dalyite has only been found in a small area within the area where janhaugite is found. Dalyite has never been found in crystals at Gjerdingselva, only as tiny grains (cit. mindat).
Gjerdingen is the type locality for Janhaugite.
