This fluorite from Knappenloch is a rarity in two senses. Calcites growing on the fluorite were very rare and unusual in this find. The white sinter deposits on the fluorite were only in a certain area near where the mining iron was found - and there was only a handful of pieces with sinter growth were found. With backlight the piece shows an intense purple color. First and third photo with medium LED light as backlit! You can read the report with videos about this found on my homepage.
