Description

Blueish and pinkish white microcrystalline anhydrite, from Arnave, near Arignac, a classic French locality. Some information can be found in: Descouens, (1984) *.

The size of the two pieces are: 18g 39x27x14 & 27g 46x32x26.

It comes with an original label of Nérée Boubée (1806-1862). Comptoir Central d'Histoire Naturelle Nérée Boubée & Cie, Paris.

Acquired in 1978 (Ex University of Amsterdam) by Wilfred Moorer (1945-2015).
