Description

This specimen came from the famous Gisela Mine near Wölsendorf, Bavaria Germany.

The Gisela Mine was closed in 1963 and produced since 1920 fluorite. The mine never produced large quantities of collector specimen.

This is a rare example from this famous mine. Sharp yellow-brown fluorite crystals partly covered by dolomite crystals forms this rare specimen.
