Description

Manganvesuvianite is a type locality species, this specimen is an intergrown cluster of long prismatic crystals. The colour is dark maroon red where the light shines through the translucent material one sees a range od deep red colours to orange. Into the mix there is also the presence of purple Piemontite. Good balance on this specimen between larger crystals and smaller crystals. The large crystals to 7mm. From finds in Febuary 2004.
