Description

The specimen consists of an aggregate cluster of basically tabular crystals of lustrous azurite with the largest crystal to 1.7cm across. The colour and luster have a visual impact with fibrous malachite creating a jewel-like sheen to complete the aesthetic impact. The material is partially pseudomorphed, malachite after azurite on the sides and on top. On the reverse small spreads of malachite needles. There is some abrasions on some of the crystals.
