Description

The specimen has a shallow layer of hematitic matrix with deposits of sparkling calcite and celestine. The celestine in its slightly blue values does contrast suffeciently against the white of the calcite. Both the calcite and celestine hve distinct structures. The celestine is almost tabular with surface striations. To the naked eye the calcite appears vermiform, extended long strings of stepped rhombic crystals.
