Description

White, multifaceted crystals of phillipsite (up to 4 mm) decorate a cavity of basaltic matrix.  The lustrous crystals are associated with créme white thompsonite crystals (11 mm along the diameter).

Historic specimen from the famous collection of the entrepreneur Adolf Scholz from Regensburg, Germany.

The previous owner trimmed the specimen in order to put it in a plastic box, and cut an old label glued on the back (see labels pictures).
