Description

A nice specimen of vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They have from mainly apple-green color to some purple areas. The crystals are gemmy, with a strong glassy luster and are well shaped. Some are doubly terminated. The vesuvianite is very fresh and sparkling. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. In a plastic box.
