Description

Lustrous flattened calcite crystals, intensively coloured in red, probably due to hematite inclusions. They form a continuous cluster that grew on a green and brown matrix. Some of these deep green (almost black), crystallized groups are botryoidal formations of mottramite.

Acquired in 1983, specimen #4653 of a Dutch collection, built in the 1960’s - 1990’s.
