Caused by erosion in lime-stone all Fluorites are more or less a little bit forsted. Depending on the position in the cleft a few, which we extracted at the „roof“ of the cleft were in better quality than all others and their faces are glossy. Overall we found only a fist full of these pieces - like this paticular one. The second important indicator is the crystal size - the main crystal is almost 10cm tall, there are only a few pieces which show this out-standing dimension. Also the stepped edges are more sharp and at last: look at these colors. It is electirc blue - even when you look at material from Illinois you will not find a comparable intensity of color. Ad in combination to this crazy blue there are intense dark purple zones. Also here it is depending on the angle light goes through and angle you look at the piece, which color is more dominant. But in any way - the saturation is not from this world.For sue one of the best I ever sold from the locality.
