Description

An absolute classic from pizzo forno. The alpe sponda is also the type locality for the mica paragonite. This is the matrix here! In addition to staurolite, the sample consists mainly of beautiful, partially transparent kyanite crystals. The largest crystal measures 5.5 cm in length and runs diagonally on one side of the specimen.
