An impressive and large display specimen of this rare and highly sought after species.  The specimen has masses of crystals as well as single crystals on the light colored chalcedony with purple fluorite.   Calaverite is a rare gold telluride mineral with the chemical formula AuTe2.  Calaverite was first discovered in Calaveras County, California, USA.
