Description

A hydrosulfide-
aluminosicate sodalite-group mineral from the type locality. Sapozhnikovite occurs as numerous colorless to white equant grains up
to 5 mm in a massive rock mainly consisting of nepheline, alkali feldspars and aegirine, with
murmanite. Sapozhnikovite demonstrates strong orange fluorescence under long-wave UV
radiation  and weak yellow-orange fluorescence under long-wave UV radiation
