Fluorite & Olivenite

Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Clara Mine, Oberwolfach, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
8.1 × 5.4 × 5.1 cm
Description

Nice clear fluorite crytals, covered with a layer of 'rusty' iron-oxides (can be removed easily - even with a fingernail). In the matrix several tiny vugs with very small olivenite crystals, which I discovered while taking the pictures. Plus minor malachite. No damage to the fluorite crystals, only scratches in the iron-oxide-layer.
