It is time to publicise the upcoming 2018 Weardale show.
Organised by Enrico Rinaldi and held in St John Chapel in the heart of beautiful Weardale, this is the second annual show.
Last year's show brought together mineral folk from all over the UK and beyond and proved to be a huge success.
We will be travelling up for the weekend and are looking forward to meeting up, and hearing some of the latest news about what is going on in the world of rocks and minerals.
Certainly there is a lot going on in Weardale. My best recollection of the 2017 event was walking out our B&B in St John's Chapel early on the Saturday morning; everyone I met I knew through mineral collecting.
With the added draw of collection displays from Steve Warren, Frank Bouwaeraets and Helen Wilkinson I trust this year's show will be the same or better. Very much looking forward to it.
