Description

Apple green adamite crystals form as subspherical aggregates, with good transparency and exceptional adamantine lustre. They beautifully contrast with the underlying white marble. Locally, thin pale white crusts could be hydrozincite (not analysed).
Very esthetic and rich!

This adamite specimen comes from a limited find in summer 2017, when less than a couple dozen specimens were recovered from a lucky pocket in the altered marble. Now specimens reside in private collections, and they are only available if deaccessioned from those, such as this one, which comes from mine.
