Description

Clusters of dodecahedral crystals of pyrite, partially coated with hydr(oxides); on a matrix of lustrous green andradite garnets. The crystalline groups of andradite are arranged in tabular hexagonal groups, because they are replacing hexagonal crystals of hematite.

Uncommon specimen that is well catalogued because it was collected in July/1993 by Geert Verellen.
